Lloyds tops Stonewall's ranking of most inclusive UK employers
Banking group Lloyds has been named the most inclusive employer in Britain by Stonewall.
The firm won the accolade after launching a new volunteering programme with the help of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender charities.
Law firm Pinsent Masons came second, followed by JP Morgan and Clifford Chance. Intelligence agency MI5 - who topped the rankings last year - shared fifth spot with the National Assembly for Wales.
LGBT+ rights charity Stonewall publishes its inclusivity rankings every year. The charity analyses the entries in something called the Workplace Equality Index, where LGBT+ employess give personal accounts of how inclusive they feel their company is.
This data is then used to highlight which firms are most committed to LGBT+ diversity in the workplace.
This year Stonewall received 439 submissions, with 92,000 people taking part in a survey about workplace culture.
