Supporting LGBT+ employees at Civil Service
Diversity, inclusion and equality are values that are regarded highly by the Fast Stream and we recognise that staff who can be open about their sexuality at work are more likely to enjoy going to work. They can be themselves, form honest relationships with their colleagues and be more productive. Equality at work makes good business sense irrespective of how people identify or express their sexual orientation.
Along with seven other Diversity Networks, the Fast Stream has an LGBT Fast Stream network which is run for LGBT Fast Streamers and anyone interested in promoting diversity in the Fast Stream and the wider Civil Service. All Fast Stream Diversity Networks hold network meetings, events, and coordinate outreach opportunities for internal and external audiences.
