Your school curriculum, the official age of consent, what age you can vote, immigration, housing or even having a TV license… the law affects us all in different ways and can have an impact on our everyday lives, whether directly or indirectly.
In 200 words, we want you to change or create a law that would improve the world or your life, if it was implemented.
It could be a massive change, or a really small one - be as individual as you like. After all, something that you think might change the world, others may not and vice versa.
You might want to think about:
What issues are you passionate about?
What is it about society that you think can be improved?
Who will this law impact?
Whether it's realistic or not, we want to hear from young people with different and insightful ways to help the world!
If your submission is successful, you will be invited to attend an Allen & Overy skills and assessment day where you will receive a City & Guilds enterprise certificate. This event will happen on the 1st July, so please keep it free.
In additional to this 60 participants will be selected to receive one week work experience on the award-winning Smart Start Experience programme and one year e-mentoring! The week work experience will commence on the 7th July 2014 so please also keep this free.
Successful submissions will be contacted by 13th June.
