The Civil Service Fast Track Apprenticeship scheme is a two year scheme offering a real alternative to university. Completing the scheme will provide you with essential work experience, a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship qualification and a springboard into a Civil Service career.
The Civil Service plays an important role in British life by making sure that Government policy is carried out. Civil servants deliver crucial services directly through the public, shaping the country and the way it runs every day.
Roles are available in an increasing number of locations, with 5 different frameworks to choose from: business administration, commercial, cyber security, digital and technology and finance.
After the apprenticeship you'll be eligible to apply for the 'in service’ Fast Stream and specific departmental talent programmes to accelerate your career.
To apply, you must have a positive attitude and want to succeed in a challenging and rewarding role. You must have the motivation to combine study with a full time job to achieve a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship. You will also need 5 A*-C GCSEs, including English and Maths, as long as you meet our nationality and immigration requirements.
