About Food and Drink Federation
The Food and Drink Federation (FDF) is the voice of the food and drink manufacturing industry, the UK’s largest manufacturing sector.
The interactive workshop, has been developed alongside food and drink industry engineering professionals to provide you with a unique insight into the area of food engineering.
You will get the chance to work on a real life challenge which will be supported on the day by engineers from industry. There will also be an exciting prize for the winner(s) of the challenge, so don’t miss this opportunity!
As we are only offering this opportunity to a select number of students we ask that you fit the following criteria to take part in the workshop:
· Year 12 & 13
· Studying STEM subjects (A-Level or BTEC)
· Particular interest in engineering
· On track to get 280+ UCAS points - (BBC / ABD / ACC) or (DMM / DDM / DDD)
· Would consider studying in Sheffield
· Available on Thursday 2nd July to attend a workshop in Birmingham
We also request that if you have already applied to study at Sheffield Hallam University to start your degree in September 2015 that you do not attend the workshop.
