What is the Awards all about?
Every Spring, we invite our students and employers from the Bright Futures network to come together and celebrate the work and dedication put into running fantastic events, promoting online content, and offering unique employment opportunities to young people, by our committee members and employers.
It is an afternoon of presenting our Bright Futures Societies with our nine awards, over lunch and champagne, while also watching committee member presentations detailing the work that has taken place over the academic year.
The Awards Ceremony brings together the network in a celebratory afternoon to highlight the successes of the year, provide networking opportunities for our students and employers, and thank everyone for their efforts.

What did our guests think of the event?
“Thank you for inviting us to the Bright Futures Awards yesterday – we had a blast! We met some great students, heard loads of amazing ideas and are really looking forward to the upcoming Insight Days we have planned for later on this year.” – MVF
“The event was absolutely amazing and thank you for offering me the opportunity to be part of this.” – Ana, President of Birmingham Bright Futures
“Tom and I are still on a high from the awards ceremony on Wednesday!!! Thanks for being our main point of contact and helping run such a successful day, I’m sure I speak on behalf of everyone when I say it really was a great celebration!” – Anna, Strathclyde Bright Futures
“Attended the Bright Futures’ Awards Ceremony yesterday in London (despite being in the midst of a crazy coursework schedule) to represent Bristol Bright Futures... we were nominated for Most Collaborative Society! Ultimately, the win went to Bright Futures Society Manchester (who also cinched Society of the Year, congrats guys!). Nonetheless, we humbly concede defeat to a society who managed to work with an astonishing 22 companies. This definitely served as an inspiration and goal...one I hope my successor will be able to work towards to!” – Hwe-Ming, President of Bristol Bright Futures
Another final congratulations and thank you to our fantastic committee members and employers who have made this Bright Futures year one of the best yet!
