Congratulations to student ambassadors' at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School!
Last week was National Careers Week and to mark the occasion 7 Student Ambassadors at QUEGS have been working very hard to take the McDonald's challenge 'Environmental Role Model' to 3 year groups in the school to their tutor groups.
With over 12 tutor groups taking part (and more coming!) …that's an astonishing 300+ students
Students at QUEGS have been submitting their answers to 'How McDonald's can become an environmental role model!'.
The fantastic ambassadors are:
- Anna Milne
- Holly Line
- Holly Byrne
- Elita Aristocleous
- Emily Fairhurst
- Ashlea-Marie Howland
- Alice Iles
- Amy Morris
Students have been taking into account how McDonald's can alter or implement their recycle and littering schemes in a bid to reduce McDonald's carbon footprint.
Students at Queen Elizabeth School will be going head to head to compete for a prize within their school as well as submitting their entries to MyKindaCrowd.com to win an apprentice style day at the McDonald's HQ in London! Last term, one team from QUEGS were invited to the McDonald's HQ as finalists for the first McDonald's challenge. Their idea was the McThermal Bag!
