About Her Majesty's Government

MyKindaCrowd have partnered with Her Majesty’s Government to continue the great work and success of Mission Opening Doors, a programme founded on three defining principles: inclusivity; accessibility; and affordability.

Mission Opening Doors is inspiring young people to reach their career potential regardless of circumstance, and is determined to ensure fair access for young talent by challenging the norms and barriers that stand in its way. It’s mission is to nurture young talent and open young people to all the possibilities available to them.

Mission Opening Doors ties in with the Government's social mobility initiative where it is their ambition to create 'a Britain where social mobility is unlocked; where everyone, regardless of background, has the chance to rise as high as their talents and ambition allow them.

Why Get Involved?

Companies

Don't miss out on your chance to take part and represent your business as making a difference in nurturing future talent.

As a Mission Opening Doors supporter, you will be allocated a space for a promotional stand where you can discuss your graduate and apptenticeship recruitment programme to over 100 young people at each event. You will also have the opportunity to take part in a speed mentoring session and co-deliver one of our professional development workshops (subject to availability).

Please contact rachel@mykindacrowd.com if you would like to take part.

Schools

This is a fantastic professional development opportunity for a selection of your students aged 14-19. Students will have the opportunity to meet  a local MP and well known businesses such as RBS, PwC, Channel 4 and many more.

Students will walk away with:

  • First hand advice from current apprentices and graduates.
  • Improved work-readiness skills from a series of workshops ran by young professionals and business leaders.
  • A certificate of recognition for attending the day.

For further information or to register your school, please contact adisa@mykindacrowd.com.
