Smith & Williamson’s degree-level apprenticeship wasn’t as widely-known, and they wanted to attract a greater number of high quality school leaver candidates. Working with MKF, they were able to establish a timeline and process to facilitate this, which also resulted in them being able to offer more positions to female trainees than ever before.
We developed a targeted outreach approach to schools, focusing on female engagement. By nurturing talent throughout the process and including online tests and telephone interviews, we generated a better performance and delivered committed, high quality candidates.
57% of offers were made to females.
92% of candidates had at least one predicted A grade, and 48% an A*.
Roles were filled quicker than before.
One office increased their hiring target by 30% to offer two additional roles, as they were so impressed by the quality of all candidates.
