‘The Power of Possibility and Self-belief’, our annual panel meeting, is MyKindaFuture’s flagship event for diversity and inclusion, taking place during Black History Month.
Discussion was led by our keynote speaker, Marjorie Ngwenya, the former president of the Management Board of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
And we were also joined by a panel of employers, including the Civil Service and ITN, who sparked open and honest discussion around the importance of Black History Month.
It all took place among an audience of students from across 13 different UK universities – who also had the chance to continue the conversation with our panel members once the talks had finished.
“I enjoyed the openness of the session and the energy of the students. There was a lot of talent in the room and what we can all do collectively to harness that talent and help them to build their networks will be invaluable.” – Zurich, panellist
